Rocamadour is a small cliffside village in south-central France. It is famous for its Cité Religieuse, a complex of religious buildings accessible via the Grand Staircase. These include the Notre-Dame chapel, with its statue of the Black Madonna, and the Romanesque-Gothic Saint-Sauveur basilica. To the northeast lies the Monkey Forest, a park where macaques roam freely. The Rocher des aigles ornithological park lies to the west.
